Man of Faith and Community

Mark has two brothers who are Eagle Scouts and will soon have two sons who are Eagle Scouts
Faith and Community have always been important to Mark’s family. His parents taught him that we are on this earth to serve our God and each other.

Mark, Debbie and their family continue to be active in their church and community. Mark continues to serve as a lector at church and as a Boy Scout merit badge counselor. Mark also serves as the Lions Club State Liberty Day chair and is a member of Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, the Farm Bureau and the Knights of Columbus.

Fun Fact:
Not being able to complete his Scout program because no one replaced his Scoutmaster upon his death engrained Mark with the importance of adults being involved in the community.

Mark helped coach his son’s basketball team for four years
Quote:
"My parents taught me that from those who have been given much, much is expected. We have always tried to give back to the community." - Mark Kennedy
